The Engine Room (ER) is an expert arts education and cultural impact evaluation unit based within the University of the Arts, London (UAL). The Engine Room’s high profile clients include regional, local and national governments, organisations and businesses. The Engine Room also works with larger trusts and foundations with an interest in the arts, culture, design and education.

The specific mission of the Engine Room’s is to expand knowledge transfer and access and diversity within the arts. It exchanges ideas and experiences between the academic world, arts professionals, enterprise and the broader community.
